Sekiranya artikel yang kita tulis panjang, kita boleh memendekkannya dengan menggunakan fungsi read More. Penggunaan Read More bukan sahaja menjadikan blog kelihatan lebih kemas dan menarik, tetapi juga memudahkan pelawat untuk memilih artikel yang ingin dibacanya.
Sebenarnya terdapat banyak cara untuk membuat Read More dalam blog. Tetapi saya rasa cara inilah yang paling mudah. Cuma ikut langkah-langkah yang akan saya terangkan di bawah..ok
1. Login > layout > Edit Html (jangan lupa tandakan pada 'expand widget template')
2. Cari kod ini
<div class='post-body entry-content'> di bawahnya ada kod ini
<p><data:post.body/></p>
3. Gantikan kod <p><data:post.body/></p> dengan kod di bawah ini
<b:if cond='data:blog.pageType == "item"'> <style>.fullpost{display:inline;}</style> <p><data:post.body/></p> <b:else/> <style>.fullpost{display:none;}</style> <p><data:post.body/></p> <a expr:href='data:post.url'>Read More......</a> </b:if>
p.s. tulisan Read More boleh diubah seperti Baca Selanjutnya, Teruskan Membaca ...dan lain-lain lagi mengikut selera anda.
4. Save Template
5. Pergi pula ke Settings > Formatting.
6. Masukkan kod di bawah ini ke dalam Post Template

7. Save Setting
8. Setelah itu pergi ke posting anda.Pilih menu Edit Html bukannya Compose.Akan kelihatan kod
ini <span class="fullpost"> dan juga </span> jangan delete kod tersebut
(kod tersebut penting)
9. Tulis segala artikel yang hendak ditampilkan pada halaman utama di atas kod <span class="fullpost">, dan yang tak mahu kelihatan diantara <span class="fullpost"> dan </span>
